The Sage's Journey

I've been reading ''Journey to the West'' and it gave me so much inspiration to write something about it! This is a game where characters are in their journey to become immortals following the middle path or Dao, it's heavily inspired in the Pendragon and Agon mechanics where characters will have their nature and duties put against each other. The system is a dice pool using d8s

The game follows a simple loop where characters encounter a new location, there they will face challenges and deal with the main source of conflict in the location, gaining dharma through their actions and spending them to get more closer to immortality.

I'm preparing a expansion containing more in depth rules mainly to physical and social combat and martial arts, hope you enjoy!
